Verwendung:
Zitronengras passt im Geschmack gut zu vielen asiatischen Gerichten kommt aber auch in der Zubereitung von Tee und Limonade zum Einsatz.
Gesundheit:
Zitronrngras enthält: Citral, Citronellol, Geranyla, Linabol, Geraniol, ätherische Öle, in Spuren auch einige Vitamine und Mineralstoffe
Zubereitung von Lemongras-Tee:
Für die Zubereitung eines Zitronengrastees gibt man einen Esslöffel Lemongras auf 250 ml Wasser. Mindestens zehn Minuten abgedeckt ziehen lassen. So können die ätherischen Öle nicht entweichen.
